We offer support to anyone affected by diabetes. This includes people living with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes and any other kind of diabetes linked with hyperglycaemia (too much sugar in the blood), including diabetes in pregnancy and pre-diabetes, their families, friends and carers, and health care professionals.

The Group is run by volunteers and is part of a network of local Diabetes UK Groups around the UK.

Anyone is welcome to get in touch with us, or to come to our meetings. There are no membership fees.

We organise monthly meetings on the third Thursday of each month. These are open to anyone and free to attend. Each month we invite a speaker with a particular expertise to talk to us about an aspect of diabetes.

You can find out your risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes by completing a series of questions.
